About Medmax

Built for the Chobe region.

Medmax Health Services Clinic was founded to address a clear gap in private healthcare along one of southern Africa's busiest cross-border corridors, and to serve the Kazungula community with the same standard of care any city patient would expect.

Strategic Position

Where the road meets the river.

Kazungula sits at the meeting point of four nations (Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Namibia), and the Kazungula Bridge has made it one of the most important transit corridors in the region.

Medmax serves two communities at once: the residents of northern Botswana who deserve consistent primary care close to home, and the commercial drivers, traders, and travellers who need accessible medical attention while in transit.

Our Values

Six principles that shape every visit.

01

Botho

Treating every patient with the dignity, respect, and compassion they deserve.

02

Equity

Providing fair, impartial, and affordable healthcare to all who walk through our doors.

03

Timeliness

Minimising wait times and ensuring prompt clinical intervention when it matters.

04

Customer Focus

Placing the patient at the centre of every decision, every protocol, every outcome.

05

Teamwork

Collaborative effort across medical and support staff. Care is never the work of one.

06

Accountability

Maintaining high ethical standards and transparent operations in everything we do.
